Honestly, I struggle with it all. With new recipes, I go to the store and stock up on one-off ingredients for said recipes, lose the recipes, and then never use the ingredient (or it goes bad). Then I wind up making homemade mac & cheese for the third time that week and put peas in even though nobody eats them because it makes me feel less guilty. Clearly my system does not work.

For old recipes, the problem is really only that they're old and tired. And we are ALL tired of old and tired.

I do want to add that my kids are coming out of the crazy hot-dogs-only mentality and are beginning to try new things for the first time since they were two, so I'd like to get going on a better dinner routine now, while they're still culinarily curious.

My biggest challenge is making something for all of us - 2 adults, a 3yo and a 1yo (no teeth!). So far, spaghetti seems to be a big hit, but I could use some new ideas!

My biggest meal time challenge is coming up with new ideas for meals. My family gets tired of the same old meals every week and so do I. The 6 o'clock Scramble sounds great!
