Whether you work at a desk all day or have a job that keeps you on the go, bag these items in a portable container for an instant, in-the-moment Brown Bag Retreat:

  • Visual Reminders: Keep a photograph of your favorite place, an inspirational quote or special momento — indulge your visual senses.

  • Aromatherapy: The scent of lavender moisturizer or some lavender potpourri is known to be soothing and calming. If you work in close proximity to others, then be conscious of the strength of your lavender. This Brown Bag Retreat is for you, not the entire office.

  • Tea: Instead of taking a run to the coffee bar, try some chamomile tea. Chamomile is especially calming following a stressful experience at work, or at home.
