Five Ways to Work Four Days a Week

July 1st, 2008 · Posted by Michele Dortch · No Comments · Audios, Resources

About a month ago, I wrote (or ranted) about how the rise in gas prices have put a damper on my family’s income. I’m not sure if that post moved you to re-think how you work, but it inspired me to have a conversation with my husband about how he might negotiate a telecommuting option with his employer.

If you’re in a similar situation and are searching for ways to curb gas costs, then you’ll want to listen to my conversation with the owner of WorkOptions.com, Pat Katepoo.

WorkOptions.com has been online since 1997 and through this site, Pat helps people restructure their current full-time job into a family-friendly work arrangement, such as telecommuting or job sharing. I personally used a Flex Success Proposal Template from WorkOptions.com, more than seven years ago, to negotiate a flexible work arrangement with my former employer.

Today, I had a chance to speak with Pat about Five Ways to Work Four Days a Week. You can listen to the 15-minute recording here:
