Holding down a full-time job and raising your family is already a tough job. But, if you find yourself driving your kids to and from soccer practice, piano lessons, Boy Scout meetings, dance classes, swim meets and more, you’re probably feeling the additional pinch at the gas pump and in your stress nerve.
Today, I stumbled upon a nifty website that may just be the solution you’re looking for. Divide the Ride is an online carpool system that allows you to create and organize transportation to your children’s activities with people you already know and trust.
All you need to do is set up a free account and then invite parents you know and trust to join your carpool. Once everyone is on board, Divide The Ride evaluates everyone’s driving availability and creates a carpool calendar for you. Best of all, Divide the Ride makes sure the driving assignments are evenly distributed among participating parents. If a conflict arises, Divide The Ride will help locate another parent in your group to drive for you. Not only does Divide The Ride create the carpool calendar for you, it also keeps you organized and up-to-date via email and text messages. You’ll also receive reminders when it’s your turn to drive.
How cool is all that?!

Great site. I reccomend highly as I have been using it for a few months now. Gas prices are CRAZY! I carpool with a few of the parents in my kids activities. It has helped me get organized–which I need!
