Thank you for your interest in sharing your story with The Integrated Mother® audience! Please carefully review the writer’s guidelines below, and contact me to submit your article or essay.

Articles and Personal Essays
The mission of The Integrated Mother is to equip, teach, and support mothers to effectively manage their life and their work so they can enjoy the best life possible. Your articles and personal essays that support this mission are welcome and give you a chance to showcase your unique experience, expertise and opinions. Your submission should fall into one of the following topic areas; however, you are also welcome to suggest a new topic:

• Balance
• Career/Work
• Money
• Motivational
• Organization
• Parenting
• Time Management

Submissions should be 350 – 750 words.

Although, original content is preferred, it is not required. You retain copyrights to your submission and are free to publish your work as you see fit; however, if your article is being marketed on several Web sites at the same time as your submission here, it may be held for future publication. If this happens, I’ll let you know by email.

Self-Promotion
Please do not submit articles or personal essays that shamelessly plug your business, Web site, blog or book. Your submission should be relevant and offer quality content to readers, not be a sales-laden marketing message. Please do include that information in your 300 character byline that will appear at the end of your article or personal essay. I will link back to your Web site if your provide a valid URL.

Editorial Policy
I carefully review each submission. Your submission should be a polished final draft that supports the mission of The Integrated Mother (stated above). I may make minor edits to your writing to correct grammar or spelling mistakes, as necessary. Edits beyond this will be rejected; however, you are welcome to re-submit a revised version.

I reserve the right to reject any article or personal essay submitted, and will send you an email if this happens. Also, please do not submit another person’s work. As an English Composition college instructor, I find plagiarism to be truly distasteful and lacking of integrity. If I discover it, your submission will be rejected (or removed if it happened to make it to publication) and I will notify the original author. Period.

Publication Date
Guest articles and personal essays are published according to the Editorial Calendar. I will let you know the exact date your post will appear on the site, along with a complete URL, so you can personally promote your work.

Payment
Currently, I do not pay for articles and personal essays submitted; however, I will link back to your Web site if you provide one with your submission. You may also have your 125X125 banner ad appear for two weeks on this site (subject to availability).
