Are you a work-at-home or telecommuting mom floundering in the chaos of managing your work and your family, all under one roof? Maybe you’ve checked out the Get Your Groove Back! eClass, but put off registering because you can’t afford it.

Put it off no longer. Here’s your opportunity! Starting today through November 22, 2009 November 30, 2009 (new deadline!), I’m accepting applications for the Get Your Groove Back! scholarship, a $179 value.

How to apply

Before you apply, please read about the eClass and make sure you are able to fully participate, paying particular attention to the time commitment and prerequisites. Then, submit a one-page Microsoft Word (.doc) document with the following information.

Your contact information

  • Full name
  • Complete mailing address
  • Email and telephone

Your response to the following questions (one paragraph per question)

  1. What do you find most challenging about working from home/telecommuting and raising a family?
  2. Why should you be selected as the scholarship recipient?
  3. What special circumstances are affecting your financial need for this scholarship?

Email your one-page submission in .doc format to info [at] integratedmother [dot] com. Incomplete or partial submissions will not be considered for the scholarship.

Selection criteria

All scholarship applications will be personally reviewed by me and judged based on applicant’s demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm, financial need and quality of the submission. Please note, scholarship applications are kept private and will not be shared with anyone.

Scholarship dates

Applications are being accepted now through November 30, 2009. A recipient will be chosen and announced on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

Important guidelines

I am giving away one (1) scholarship, a $179 value, to be used exclusively for the Get Your Groove Back! eClass. Course details can be found here.

This scholarship is for moms experiencing a financial hardship that prevents them from paying the regular class fee, which is already affordably priced. Please do not apply if you can pay for the class, but just don’t want to; this is not a giveaway.

The scholarship recipient should expect to be as fully engaged in the learning process as a paid participant for the duration of the six-week eClass. This eClass works when you invest in it! The class has a rolling start date, every Wednesday, and recipient may select her start date; however, she must begin the class on or before December 31, 2009.

The scholarship is non-transferable and may not be used by anyone but the selected recipient. Should the recipient be unable to complete the class for any reason, the scholarship is not transferable to a new start date and will be forfeited.
