Over the last several weeks, I’ve been spending less time on this blog and more time in other areas of my life. Trust me…the guilt of not being here at 100% nearly killed me! At the same time, I know that my life is rarely linear. Wouldn’t it be nice if working motherhood were laid out in a straight line toward perfection?!
But it’s not and I accepted long ago that non-linear is good, so long as the general direction I’m heading is toward my purpose and goals.
So, I haven’t disappeared. There isn’t any real mystery behind the lag between my posts. Sure…occasionally, I’m uninspired and maybe that has a little bit to do with it. But mostly, I’ve just taken a small detour off the the straight line of life.
Besides…I prefer to meander down those untraversed paths just to see where I might end up.
