Today is the final day to offer your donation toward The Integrated Mother’s 2008 Literacy Challenge!
Halloween has traditionally been known for candy – lots and lots of candy! You may be neck deep in candy corn, but I hope you’ll take a moment to consider a donation to The Integrated Mother’s 2008 Literacy Challenge. This challenge is sponsored by DonorsChoose.org, a non-profit, online Web site specifically designed to provide students in need with resources that our public schools often lack. Teachers submit project proposals for materials or experiences their students need to learn. I’ve selected five projects that represent schools across the country with a specialized need in literacy for children K-2nd grade.
Will you consider exchanging your latte or lunch out today to make a small contribution? Today, October 31, is the final day to participate in the challenge and I’d love to see a few of the projects fully funded. Your donation, small or large, will make a positive difference.
