Play the 20-Minute Clean Up Game

After a long day at the office, the last thing you want is to put in another shift of “work” – housework. To ease the burden of cleaning house, try the 20-Minute Clean Up Game to engage your family members in the fun! Here’s how it works: Write down a list of quick chores that need to be done around the house on separate pieces of paper (i.e., take out the trash, vacuum living room, etc.). Put them into a shoebox or other container. Set the kitchen timer to 20 minutes. Each family member pulls a chore from the container, completes the chore and then returns to do another. The person who completes the most chores in 20 minutes wins a prize.
